Sophomore middle blocker Amanda Conlin led the charge at the net, finishing with a team-best three blocks. Junior setter/rightside hitter Michaela Schimmer and freshman outside hitter Mackenzie Horkey also had strong performances, totaling nine kills apiece, while Horkey added 12 digs.

SDSU managed to outblock Omaha on the day, 5-4. The Jackrabbits were no match for the Mavericks' season-best .316 attack percentage, however, as UNO limited SDSU to a .089 effort.

South Dakota State was led by six kills and three blocks from Wagner Larson, as well as 13 assists by Jessi Henter.

The first set was marked by back-and-forth action for the majority of the game until Omaha took the lead for good on a dump kill by O'Shaughnessy. The score proved the spark that fueled a 7-0 run for the Mavs, giving them the first set at 25-19.

It was all Omaha in the second game, as the Mavericks opened the second game on 10-0 run. The run was UNO's best start to a set and was its longest stretch of unanswered points this season. O'Shaughnessy collected nine service points in that run, and her 13 assists guided Omaha to hit .333 as a team while limiting SDSU to .034.

The third set saw Omaha continue stringing together runs, as they opened with a 5-0 bout and never looked back. The Mavericks pushed it to 16-9 on a Wollak kill, one of her six kills for the set. UNO then took a 10-point lead at 22-12 on another Wollak kill, and the Mavericks finished it off on a Horkey kill for a final score of 25-16 and the 3-0 sweep.

Omaha's next match is Tuesday, Nov. 4 at Oral Roberts. The match is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. from Tulsa, Okla.
