OMAHA, Neb. -- The Omaha swimming & diving team returned to HPER Pool for its first home meet in over a month on Saturday afternoon against South Dakota State. The Jackrabbits defeated the Mavericks 159.5-140.5 in a meet where Omaha took 10 of the 16 total events.

Morgan Stepp and junior
Natalie Renshaw, who each won three individual events.
Stepp claimed the top spots and season-best times in the 1,650 free (18:04.59) and the 200 IM (2:10.28).The Parker, Colo., native also took the victory in the 500 free (5:16.71). Renshaw, a Millard North graduate, earned victories while clocking in season-best times in the 200 free (1:55.03) and 50 free (23.84). Renshaw added an individual victory in the 100 free (52.29) to cap her solid night.

Hannah Johnson and sophomore MacKenzie Ritter touched the block with the fastest time of the season for any Omaha quartet in the event (1:39.53). Foiles also took an individual victory in the 100 fly, touching the wall at 59.93.
Junior Miranda Knipfer kept up her recent success on the board, posting a season-best score in the 1-meter dive (243.29).
Omaha returns to the pool next Friday, Nov. 21, traveling to Topeka, Kan., for the Kansas Invitational. The meet is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
