Box Score BROOKINGS, S.D. – The Omaha volleyball team kicked off its final roadtrip of the year on Friday night, falling 3-1 to South Dakota State by set scores of 17-25, 12-25, 25-18, 23-25 at Frost Arena. The Mavericks are now 6-20 (1-10 Summit League), while the Jackrabbits improve to 4-20 (2-9 Summit League).
Sophomore
Kelley Wollak paced Omaha with 12 kills and just missed a double-double, finishing with nine digs. Sophomore
Amy Taylor added nine kills on .333 hitting, and sophomore
Michaela Schimmer totaled six kills, 18 assists and six digs.

Bailey Baxter led the Mavericks with 21 assists, along with seven digs and two service aces. Freshman
Kristy Wieser totaled 18 digs for the night, and sophomore
Kimberly Bailey topped the Mavs defensively with 20 digs of her own.
SDSU was led by two player with double-figure kill performances. Wagner Larson hit .500 en route to 1 kills, and Tiara Gibson added another 11. Three Jackrabbits had double-figure digs, led by 20 from Kacey Hermann. Setter Lexi Fowler had 35 assists and guided South Dakota State to hit .222 over four sets to Omaha's .194.
Omaha returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 9, meeting North Dakota State for a 7 p.m. match at Bentson Bunker Fieldhouse in Fargo, N.D. Links to live stats and video will be available on OMavs.com.
