Box Score FARGO, N.D. – The Omaha volleyball team played its last road match of the season on Saturday night, falling 3-0 to North Dakota State by set scores of 15-25, 21-25, 22-25 at Bentson Bunker Fieldhouse. The Mavericks are now 6-21 (1-11 Summit League), while the Bison improve to 6-19 (6-6 Summit League).

Megan Schmale led the Mavericks with a match-best 11 kills, hitting .429 for the night and adding a team-best two blocks. Sophomore
Bailey Baxter snagged her ninth double-double of the season, totaling 15 assists and 10 digs.

Kelley Wollak added eight kills and eight digs, and sophomore
Michaela Schimmer finished with six kills, 16 assists, five digs and a block. Sophomore
Kimberly Bailey paced the team defensively with 13 digs.
North Dakota State was led by Hadley Steffen, who had 10 kills on .333 hitting. Emily Milligan put up 1 digs, and setter Monica Claxton totaled 35 assists.
As a team, Omaha finished with a .237 team attack percentage, while NDSU came in at a .277 clip. The two squads tied in the performances at the net, with each finishing with five blocks for the night.
Omaha returns to action next weekend, hosting South Dakota on Friday, Nov. 15. The match is set for a 7 p.m. start at Sapp Fieldhouse, and links to live video and live stats will be available on OMavs.com.
