Box Score DENVER, Colo. -- The Omaha volleyball team kicked off its weekend roadtrip on Friday night, falling 3-0 to Denver by set scores of 23-25, 21-25, 19-25 at Hamilton Gymnasium. With the loss, the Mavericks drop to 6-15 (1-5 Summit League), while the Pioneers improve to 11-8 (5-1 Summit League).
Sophomore
Michaela Schimmer paced UNO with her fourth career triple-double, finishing with 12 kills, 16 assists and 11 digs. Schimmer hit .409 for the night and added three blocks.

Megan Schmale chipped in nine kills on .400 hitting with two blocks, and sophomore
Diane Banderas put up a team-best four blocks. Sophomore
Kelley Wollak totaled eight kills with 10 digs, and sophomore
Kimberly Bailey had 11 digs to match Schimmer's tally. Sophomore
Bailey Baxter finished with 18 assists and eight digs.
DU was led by Colleen King's double-double on 12 kills and 12 assists. Kate Acker and Nola Basey had 15 digs apiece, and Tori Moons tallied a match-best 23 assists. As a team, the Pioneers hit .213 to UNO's .135.
