SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Senior Rebecca Pollock shot 76 on Sunday to lead the UNO women's golf team to a fifth-place finish at the Augustana Spring Invitational.

The Mavericks shot a team score of 320 in round two to finish with a 36-hole score of 639 at the Prairie Green Golf Course.  Host Augustana won the event with a two-day score of 600 which included a tournament-best round of 298 on Sunday.  Gustavus Adolphus was second at 620, three strokes better than Minnesota State which finished third.

Pollock finished with a two-day score of 154 to finish 11th overall.  Melyssa Doerr, who shot a career-best round of 72 in round one, finished in a tie for 14th with a score of 157 after an 85 on Sunday.  Brooke Thilges matched her first-round score in round two, carding an 80 for a total score of 160, putting her in a tie for 18th.  Elizabeth Havekost shot 89 on Sunday for a two-round score of 168, good for a tie for 36th in the 69-player event.

The Mavericks are right back in action on Monday, April 16 at the Creighton Classic, their final event of the season.  The two-day tournament will be at the Oak Hills Country Club.  First round action begins at 9:30 a.m.
