Armana Christianson shot her second consecutive round in the 70s on Tuesday to lead the UNO women's golf team to a second-place finish at the RMAC/NSIC Crossover.
Although not a member of either conference, the Mavericks hosted the 18-team event at Tiburon Golf Course.
Christianson shot 76 on Tuesday after firing a 79 in the opening round for a 155 total. She finished third overall to Augustana's Allie Ostrander and Maggie Leland who tied for the overall lead at 153. Ostrander was declared the individual medalist because of a lower second round score.
Augustana won the event with a score of 625. UNO was 643 and Minnesota State, after a strong closing round, was third at 648.
Melyssa Doerr shot a 79 in round two for UNO for a two-round score of 164. That tied her with teammate
Rebecca Pollock who shot an 88 on Tuesday after tying for the overall lead after round one with a 76. Both players finished in a three-way tie with Colorado State-Pueblo's Michaela Breit for 15th overall.
Brooke Thilges was fourth in scoring for UNO with an 85 in round two for a tournament score of 166. She was tied for 22nd overall.
Elizabeth Havekost shot an 82 to finish at 170 and in a tie for 36th overall in the 90-player event.
The Mavericks have three weeks off before finishing the fall season at the Lady Bulldog Classic hosted by Truman State on Oct. 24 and 25.
