WARRENSBURG, Mo. – The UNO volleyball team closed regular-season action on Friday night, falling 3-0 at No. 8 Central Missouri, 13-25, 11-25, 13-25. With the loss, the Mavericks are 17-15 (7-13 MIAA), while UCM improves to 28-4 (18-2 MIAA) and clinch a share of the MIAA championship.

Sophomore outside hitter Natalie Ebke totaled six kills to lead the Mavs, while freshman middle blocker Megan Hutson had five kills on .400 hitting with a pair of blocks. Junior libero Angie Reicks notched 11 digs, and freshman setter Miranda Wisehart chipped in 16 set assists.

Central Missouri was topped by Allie Huffman, who had 10 kills on .556 hitting with no attack errors. Rachel Fister had a game-leading 15 digs, and Julia Bates contributed 31 assists to help the Jennies to a .346 team hitting performance. 

UNO now awaits the announcement of the 2010 NCAA Division II Tournament field, which will be released at NCAA.com on Sunday, Nov. 14 at 9 p.m.
