KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - The Mavericks ended the game on an 11-0 run to secure a nine-point victory as they won at Truman, 73-64 Wednesday evening. The Mavericks improved to 12-1 overall and 5-1 in the MIAA. They'll return home to host No. 1 Central Missouri Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Sapp Fieldhouse.

#Dion Curry# hit a lay-up at the 4:20 mark to tie the score and start UNO's game-ending run. The Mavs made 5-of-6 free throws during that stretch and TSU missed five straight shots.

The Bulldogs took the lead by a point at the 16:13 mark of the second half on a 3-pointer. Neither team led by more than four points after that until the 2:04 mark when #Tyler Bullock# hit a jumper to put UNO up, 70-64 as part of its 11-0 run.

Curry had his third double-double of the year with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Bullock had 20 points with an 8-for-8 performance from the free throw line and #Andrew Bridger# added 12 points.

The Mavericks shot 45 percent from the field and 71 percent from the free throw line. The Bulldogs were 48 percent from the field and 67 percent from the line. UNO won the rebound battle, 38-32.

The first half was played just as close as the second. There were 10 ties and four lead changes in the half and neither team led by more than four.Overall, there were 15 ties and 16 lead changes in the game.
