TOPEKA, Kan. - The Mavericks shot a season-low 30 percent and trailed the entire second half in a 60-49 loss against Washburn in Lee Arena Saturday night.
The loss dropped Nebraska-Omaha to 14-4 overall and 7-4 in the MIAA while the Ichabods improved to 10-8 and won their third straight to go to 4-7 in the MIAA.
The Ichabods also shot poorly, just 33 percent and both teams were 20 percent from 3-point range. The Ichabods pulled in five more rebounds than UNO and made five more field goals.

Andrew Bridger with 10 points each. Dion Curry# had nine points and a game-high 12 rebounds.
The Mavericks cut a 10-point deficit in the second half down to a point twice. The second time Bridger hit a 3-pointer at 8:23 to make the score 42-41. Washburn pushed its lead back to six two minutes later and then made its final four free throws to push the final lead to 11.
UNO blocked a season-high nine shots with Harris leading with four. Bridger led the team with four assists.
The Mavericks led for most of the first five minutes. After a 4-4 tie, they went on a 5-0 run to lead 9-4. Washburn erased that with a 6-0 run to take the lead for good.
De'Andre Washington led the Ichabods with 19 points.
