HAYS, Kan. - Kelli Goeser led the Mavericks with 12 kills as they defeated Fort Hays State, 25-15, 25-16, 25-17, Friday evening to improve to 15-3 overall and 4-0 in the MIAA.

They will continue their road trip with a 4 p.m. match Saturday at No. 3 Emporia State.

Sara Kampschnieder had eight kills with an error to lead the team with a .389 attack percentage. Ellen Thommes added nine kills and led with four blocks, assisting on all four of UNO's team blocks.

Angie Reicks led the back row with 15 digs and Emily Myers had 33 assists.
