Sophomore setter #Emily Myers# averaged 11.89 assists and 2.50 digs per set as she earned her second MIAA specialist of the week honor, announced Monday by the conference office.

Myers helped lead the Maverick offense to a .279 attack percentage in five matches last week. During the four matches of the UNO Volleyball Classic, she led the field with 12.54 assists per set. She also led UNO's offense to a tournament-high .317 attack percentage.

Myers had 51 assists and 15 digs for a double-double at No. 9 Nebraska-Kearney last Wednesday. She also had five kills for a .400 attack percentage in the match.

Myers also earned athlete of the week after the opening week of the season.
