OMAHA, Neb. - For the seventh time in nine games this year UNO shot better than 50 percent in a 90-72 win over York (Neb.) Sunday evening at Sapp Fieldhouse.
The Mavericks (8-1) shot 53 percent from the field and 84 percent from the free throw line. They held the Panthers to 42 percent shooting and produced a 43-28 advantage on rebounds.

Tyler Bullock led UNO with 19 points as he was 7-of-14 from the field and 5-of-5 from the free throw line. Eugene Bain# had a double-double with 15 points and a team-high 11 rebounds.

Jeff Martin scored 13 points for UNO with three 3-pointers and Matt Newman# came off the bench to score eight points off a 4-of-6 performance.
The Panthers took a brief, one-point lead at the 10:46 mark of the first half on a 3-pointer by Desmond Strickland. There were four ties after that before UNO took over for good on a pair of free throws by Bain at the 6:50 mark.
The Mavs led by seven at halftime and the lead stayed around 10 points most of the second half. An 11-2 run that started at the midway point of the second half pushed UNO's lead to 21 at 81-60 with 5:22 remaining. York never got any closer than 18 points from UNO the rest of the way.
Justice Nall led the Panthers with 18 points and he added 11 rebounds for a double-double.
