GRAND ISLAND, Neb. - Four Mavericks scored in double figures and #
Andrew Bridger# had another double-figure assist game as Nebraska-Omaha defeated Chadron State, 92-70 Friday in the first day of the SUNHEAT College Basketball Classic.
The Mavericks improved to 4-0 and they will continue action in Grand Island Saturday against Wayne State (Neb.) at 3 p.m.

Tyler Bullock was 7-of-14 from the field to lead all scorers with 17 points. Eugene Bain added 11 points off a 5-of-8 performance. Jeff Martin hit three 3-pointers to help him score 13 points and Dion Curry# was a solid 5-of-6 from the field as he scored 11 points.

Matt Newman# came off the bench to lead UNO with six rebounds and he had eight rebounds.
Bridger added 12 assists to lead to offense. He has 42 assists in the first four games and he's averaging 10.5 a game.
The Mavericks shot 63 percent in the game and they've shot better than 50 percent in all four games. They've topped 60 percent in their last three.
They held the Eagles to 39 percent shooting. CSC did lead the rebounding battle, 34-31.
The Eagles led in the early minutes of the game but after a 6-6 tie, Bridger hit a 3-pointer and the Mavs led the rest of the way.
Archie Donte led Chadron State with 15 points.
