St. Joseph, Mo. - The University of Nebraska at Omaha Soccer team settled for its first tie of the season with the Missouri Western State Griffons Thursday night after two overtime periods, 1-1. With the draw, the Mavericks record sits a 9-4-1 and 8-1-1 in Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association play. The Griffons move to 5-9-1 and 3-7-1 in the MIAA.

The Mavs outshot the Griffons 15-6. The UNO defense held its opponent under 10 shots for the fifth consecutive game.
