OMAHA, Neb. – The University of Nebraska at Omaha swimming and diving team captured their fourth consecutive Mutual of Omaha title Saturday evening, winning all but one event.
Laura Kemp paced the Mavericks with three individuals titles in the 200 and 400-yard individual medley and the 200-yard breaststroke.
Jessica Connick and Michelle Bene finished first and second in the one and three-meter diving,while Cait Hopkins, Kristy Gmeiner, Jessica LaFave and Lindsey Kline each won two individual titles as well.
In addition, the Mavericks' relay teams won the 200, 400 and 800-yard freestyle as well as the 200 and 400-yard medley relay.
UNO more than doubled runner-up Colorado in total points, finishing with 1,932 compared to CU's 801.
The Mavericks will return to action on Friday, Dec. 12 against South Dakota at the HPER pool starting at 6 p.m.
