EMPORIA, Kan. -- Eighth-ranked Truman State swept the University of Nebraska at Omaha volleyball team 3-0 (25-19, 25-22, 25-18) Friday afternoon in first round action at the NCAA II South Central Regional at White Auditorium.
The loss ends the Maverick season at 16-16 while Truman (30-7) advances to the Regional semifinals where they will battle Central Missouri at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Eli Medina recorded a double-double with 10 kills and 15 digs to lead Truman.
