KIRKSVILLE, Mo. -- The University of Nebraska at Omaha struggled offensively as 12th-ranked Truman State handed the Mavericks a 3-0 (25-16, 25-21, 25-18) setback in Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association volleyball action Saturday night at Pershing Arena.
With the loss, UNO dropped to 9-10 overall and 5-4 in the MIAA. The Bulldogs improved to 19-5 and 6-2 in league play.

Ellen Thommes# was one of only two Mavericks who hit above .200 on the night, connecting on a match-high 14 kills while hitting .444. Freshman right side hitter #
Lizzy Mach# hit .333 with six kills while adding a team-high four blocks in the loss.
As a team, the Mavericks committed 22 attack errors and hit just .085. Truman State hit .248 as a team and was led by Eli Medina's 11 kills and nine digs.
