Coach Kemp on Pereira:
“Joe's been a guy who has had to contend with a lot of injuries throughout his career. To this point and time, everytime he's been in a position to secure a spot in the lineup, he suffers an unexpected injury. Over the course of the past off season, he has had those injuries addressed. His progress and recovery from those injuries has been solid. Our expectation is this year he will put that bug behind him and contribute to our team both offensively and defensively.”
