2001 Sophomore Season
Started in 20 games, sat out one game due to injury...had the fourth highest point total on the team with 28...scored eight goals and tallied 12 assists...finished two games with five points, one goal and three assists, 10-5-01 versus Augustana and 10-27-01 against Northwest Missouri State...had an impressive 56 shots-on-goal percentage, 40 of 71...earned first team all-North Central Region honors as a midfielder...was a member of the all-NCC first team and was selected to the NCC all-Academic first team with a 4.00 GPA.

2000 Freshman Season
Began the season slated as a midfielder, but moved to the center defender position early in the year...started in all 21 games as a freshman...tallied two assists for two points...earned all-North Central Conference honors due to her efforts as the Mavericks' defensive anchor.

Elkhorn High School
A 2000 graduate of Elkhorn High School...a four-year varsity letterwinner...a three-time all-state all-class selection, earning first-team honors as a junior and senior, and second-team accolades as a sophomore...also a four-time all-conference honoree and was named to the Class B all-state team in her last three seasons...set a school record with 14 assists in a season as a sophomore...as a senior, she recorded 14 goals and six assists...in her career she tallied 52 goals and 30 assists...in her four seasons, she led her team to a combined 56-20 record and a 1999 Class B semifinal finish at the state tournament as a junior...led her team to the state tournament every season...a four-time basketball letterwinner...named to the Class B all-state second team as a senior, and was also a three-time all-conference and all-state honorable mention selection...named Elkhorn High School's Outstanding Senior Girl...her success in athletics mirrors her success in the classroom as she finished in the top five percent of her graduating class and is an academic all-conference selection in both basketball and soccer...was the student council president as a senior, and was on the student council in 1997 and 1998...also made the honor roll in her first three years and was a member of the National Honor Society.

Club Soccer
Kirby played her club soccer with the Toro Lightning, leading her team to Nebraska State Championships in 1995, 1997, 1998, and 1999.
