Meg Nemnich

Meg Nemnich returned to Omaha as an assistant coach in 2026 after a standout playing career with the Mavericks and one season on the coaching staff at Eastern Michigan.

During the 2025 season, Nemnich helped guide Eastern Michigan while coaching multiple award-winning student-athletes. Under her guidance, Olivia Sipsock earned Second Team All-MAC honors, while Kaylee Synk was named to the MAC All-Freshman Team.

Prior to beginning her coaching career, Nemnich was a standout student-athlete at Omaha. After starting her collegiate career at Memphis, she transferred to Omaha and appeared in 69 matches with 32 starts. She recorded two goals and one assist during her Maverick career and earned Second Team All-Summit League honors as a senior before graduating in 2024.

Nemnich comes from a strong soccer background. Her father was an All-American at Michigan State, earning Second Team All-Big Ten honors after leading the Spartans with eight goals during the 1993 season.
