Biography

2004-05: Played in four fall tournaments, with a tie for fifth at the Nebraska Wesleyan Invitational, shooting 85-82--167, her best finish...best round was a 5-over 77 at Laker Invitational, her second college meet.

High School: A two-time state qualifier, she averged 82 as a senior at North Platte High School under Coach Carol Sandau...lettered in golf and made the honor roll four straight years...twice earned academic all-conference honors...was district champion as a junior and fifth as a senior...helped lead her team to its best-ever team score in 2002.

Personal: Born Jan. 30, 1986...daughter of Rich and Denise Newton...has two brothers...hopes to pursue a career in medicine.
