* A three-time Kansas all-state team member who pitched a 38-13 record her four years under coach Ron Gifford
* Threw five perfect games, a Kansas state record, eight no-hitters and 26 shutouts
* Gave up just 22 walks while striking out 541 in 343 career innings
* Struck out 17 batters in a seven inning game her junior year
* Won the Kansas State High School Activities Association Female Athlete Award and the US Army Academic and Athletic Excellence Award her senior year
* Lettered in basketball and cross country three years
* Played under coach Paul Caccavo with the Kansas City Xtreme while placing first in her region and fifth at nationals
