Summit League All-Tournament Team (2018)

2018 (Senior) Season Statistics
Earned Summit League All-Tournament honors…named to the Summit League Players to Watchlist…started in all 51 games this season for Omaha in center field…led the team and finished third in the Summit League with 13 stolen bases…finished fourth on the team with a .267 average with two triples, five doubles and 10 RBI…had a .987 fielding percentage with 73 putouts….picked up her first career hit as a Maverick against Missouri State (Feb. 11)…had eight multi-hit games this season…went 4-for-4 with two RBI and three runs scored at Coppin State (March 8) and at Hampton (March 9)…stole three bases against Coppin State and two more against LaSalle (March 9)…went 3-for-4 with a run scored against South Dakota in the Summit League Tournament (May 9).

Before Omaha (St. Gregory’s University)
As a junior earned Second Team All-Conference honors…Played in 42 games, and batted .308. Nelson drove in 31 runs, hit six doubles, hit six triples, and slugged .444.  During her sophomore campaign, earned Sooner Athletic Conference Golden Glove honors after committing only two errors in 44 outfield chances ... tied for second on the team with a .347 batting average ... had ten extra-base hits and 27 RBIs ... season-high three hits and four RBIs vs. Southwestern Christian.

Lewisville High School
District Offensive POY her senior season at Lewisville (Texas) HS ... the team won a state title in 2013 and made it to the quarterfinals in 2014 ... honorable mention all-district her junior year and hit .420 her senior season.

Born September 21, 1995 ... daughter of Patrick and Judy Nelson ... has two siblings: Nicole and Kristina.
