as a Freshman (2022-23)
Competed in 17 events over seven meets for the Mavericks… posted seven top-10 finishes on the season... holds 1^st-place finish in the 200 butterfly (1:52.48) and top-2 finishes for the 400 IM for the team... won the 200 butterfly (1:52.48) at the Rochester Invitational (Dec. 4)… competed in the 200 IM and 400 IM at the Summit League Championships (Feb. 25)… contributed to 3^rd-place finish for the team in the 800 freestyle relay (7:02.81)... posted season-best times in the 100 butterfly (54.23), 200 freestyle (1:49.12), 200 IM (1:54.41), and 400 IM (4:02.55)

Liberty High School 
Four-year letterwinner for the Blue Jays swim and diving teams... Made the All-Conference team and Missouri state tournament all four years... Conference champion as a freshman, junior, and senior, as well as a runner-up his sophomore year... State runner-up as a freshman... Set the school record in the 200 IM and 100 breast as a junior in a season that garnered All-State honors... Also swam for the Tsunami Swim Club Team.

Son of Linda and Chris Murphy... Has a brother, Cameron... Majoring in Kinesiology.
