2011-12 (Junior) - Game-By-Game Statistics
Set new career highs for goals, assists and points while finishing second in team scoring...one of six players to appear in all 38 games...was named captain prior to the start of the season...had three assists in a 4-1 exhibition win over British Columbia on Oct. 1...scored two goals, one on the power play, against Colgate on Oct. 8...had a powerplay goal at Alaska on Oct. 15...scored the game-winning goal against Alaska Anchorage on Oct. 21...had two powerplay goals and added two assists at Wisconsin on Oct. 28...followed that game by scoring another goal at Wisconsin on Oct. 29 to finish the series with three goals and two assists...had the game’s first goal and added two assists, all in the first period, against Colorado College on Nov. 4...scored a powerplay goal at Bemidji State on Nov. 11...had two goals, including the game-winner, at Bemidji State on Nov. 12...scored a goal at Denver on Nov. 18...had two goals, including the game winner, and an assist on Nov. 26 against St. Cloud State, setting a new career high for goals in a season (14) in the process...had two assists at Minnesota State on Jan. 21...scored two goals and had two assists, figuring in on all four UNO goals, on Feb. 4 against Bemidji State...in the process, snapped a 12-game goal-scoring drought and set a new career high for goals in a season...also tied a team season high for points in a game, his second four-point game of the year...in that same game, played in the 100th game of his career...was named a WCHA Scholar-Athlete on Feb. 9...named to the All-WCHA Academic Team on March 8.

Played in 30 games in a season shortened by injuries...still registered career highs in assists (19) and points (30) and finished fifth in team scoring...was one of five 30-point scorers for UNO...had two assists against British Columbia on Oct. 2 (exhibition)...scored a goal against Clarkson on Oct. 8...had a goal against RIT on Oct. 9...had two assists at Minnesota on Oct. 16...had a goal and an assist at Michigan on Oct. 22 to open season with five-game point streak...had three assists against Minnesota State on Nov. 6...scored a powerplay goal at St. Cloud State on Nov. 12...had a goal and an assist against North Dakota on Nov. 19...had two assists against Michigan Tech on Dec. 10...scored a goal at Colorado College on Dec. 18...missed five games (Dec. 19 - Jan. 15) with an injury...had a shorthanded goal on Jan. 22 at North Dakota...scored a goal against St. Cloud State on Feb. 5...had two goals at Minnesota Duluth on March 5...scored a goal and added an assist against Bemidji State on March 11...had an assist against Bemidji State on March 12 to put together a season-high five-game point streak...was a member of the All-WCHA Academic Team.

One of just two returning players and the only freshman to play in all 42 games...had 13 goals and 11 assists for 24 points to lead all UNO freshman scorers...tied for sixth in freshman scoring in the CCHA...tied for seventh among all CCHA players with four game-winning goals...led the team in powerplay goals (7) and game-winning goals (4)...scored the game-winning goal, the first of his college career, against Army on 10/9...scored the game-winning goal against UMass-Lowell on 10/10...was named to the Mutual of Omaha Icebreaker All-Tournament Team...registered first collegiate assist vs. Bowling Green on 10/31...had an assist and the shootout-deciding goal at Michigan State on Nov. 6...scored a goal against Lake Superior on Nov. 14...had the game-winning goal and an assist against Northern Michigan on Jan. 22...scored a goal at Notre Dame on Jan. 30...scored a natural hat trick against Ohio State on Feb. 5, the first Maverick to score a hat trick since March 7, 2007 (Brandon Scero)...had a goal and an assist against Ohio State on Feb. 6...was named the CCHA’s CCM Rookie of the Week on Feb. 8...had two powerplay goals, including the game winner, against Michigan on Feb. 12...had two assists against Michigan on Feb. 13...was named the CCHA’s CCM Rookie of the Week on Feb. 15, his second straight award...had a goal against Bemidji State on Feb. 27...had a powerplay goal and an assist against Bowling Green on March 5.

Before UNO
Led the Sioux Falls Stampede in scoring in 2008-09 with 27 goals and 31 assists in 60 games…also led the team in goals…was 12th in the USHL scoring and ninth in goals…earned a USHL player of the week nod…finished his two-year career with 34 goals and 47 assists for 81 points in 116 games...attended Providence High School in New Lennox, Ill. and played Midget Major AAA hockey for the Chicago Chill where he won a state championship.
