Prior to UNO:
The 2001-2002 Most Valuable Player for the Omaha Lancers...Recorded 35 goals and 24 assists for 59 points while helping the Lancers capture the Anderson cup as regular season champions of the USHL.

Personal:
The son of John and Marcella Thomas...Born December 18, 1982...A member of the 2000-2001 Omaha Lancer Clark Cup team...Enjoys playing the guitar and playing billiards.

“Coming off a year where he led the Omaha Lancers in goal scoring, we look for John to contribute offensively to our team at either the wing or center position. He's an excellent skater with nice size and plays very hard."
