2001-2002 (Freshman):
Saw action in both games of the Ferris State series on Nov.
23-24.

Prior to UNO:
Played for the Fargo-Moorhead Ice Sharks of the United
States Hockey League in 1998-1999 and tallied three
assists along with 232 minutes in penalties...In 1999-2000,
he played for the Rochester Mustangs and recorded 10 goals and eight assists before being traded to the Waterloo Blackhawks...With the Blackhawks, he finished the season with 12 goals and nine assists along with 150 penalty minutes.

Personal:
Born November 8, 1978 in Omaha, the son of Jerry and Ruth Johnson...Graduated from Northwest High School in 1997...Owns his own deck restoration business...Nickname is “Junk”...Has three younger brothers...Has been playing hockey since the age of three.
