2001-2002 (Freshman):
Recorded five goals and three assists in 32 games as a freshman...Scored his first collegiate goal in a 5-4 victory over Colgate on Oct. 19...Tallied two goals and an assist in the weekend sweep over Michigan State on Oct. 26-27...Tied for the team lead in unassisted goals with two...His one power play goal of the season came against Ferris State on Nov. 23.

Prior to UNO:
Split the 2000-2001 season with the Chicago Steel of the United States Hockey League and the Des Moines Buccaneers of the USHL...In 51 total games, Groslie recorded 23 goals and 18 assists for 41 points...He also racked up 73 penalty minutes...Was a member of the 2000 USHL Four-Nations International team.

Graduated from Moorhead Senior High School in June of 1999...Undecided on a major at UNO...Full name is Gus Russell Groslie...Born August 25, 1980 in Moorhead, MN, the son of Gary and Patty Groslie...Played baseball in high school and was named the team’s most valuable player...Likes to play golf...Has a sister, Chelsie, who is a member of the UNO women’s basketball team.
