Suslow joined the Maverick hockey staff in July of 2023. Before coming to Omaha, he served as the Director of Hockey Operations for Penn State women's hockey for two seasons.
At PSU, his duties included video coordinator, breaking down all game film live using Catapult thunder to give the coaching staff more information through video and analytics for video reviews, and game time decisions. Suslow pre-scouted all opponents to prepare for upcoming weekend series and managed a staff of four student managers. Other responsibilities included the planning and execution of team travel, team meals, ice time logistics, budget, NCAA compliance, and all other team operations.
Prior to his stint with Penn State, he spent three seasons with the St. Lawrence men's and women's hockey programs as a hockey operations assistant and their lead video coordinator.
