Biography

2001-2002 (Freshman):
Had a solid first season as a Maverick, playing in 36 games and registering four goals and two assists...Saw action at both forward and defense throughout the season...Led UNO freshmen with a +8 and also had most penalty minutes by a rookie with 50...Scored the game-winning goal against Miami on Feb. 1...Four of his six points came in CCHA play...Had unassisted goal in the win against Notre Dame in game one of the CCHA Playoffs.

Prior to UNO:
Played for the Merritt Centennials of the British Columbia Junior Hockey League where he recorded 13 goals and 27 assists for 40 points in 2000-2001...Racked up a team-high 147 penalty minutes and also tallied six power play goals...Was a first-team all-star and was named the team’s best defenseman and most popular player.

Personal:
Born July 31, 1980, the son of Peter and Benetta...Has two brothers and two sisters...Graduated from Harry Arnlay High School where he lettered in rugby and track...Majoring in finance and marketing at UNO...Hobbies are hunting, fishing and skiing...Won a bilingual French/English speaking contest in high school.
