2001-2002 (Freshman):
Played in 25 of the final 29 games of the year, recording 0-4-4...He registered all four of his assists against CCHA opponents...His +6 rating was sixth best on the team...Had a streak of four consecutive weekends where he recorded an assist...His consistent play and continued progress earned him UNO’s Most Improved Player Award.

2000-2001 (Redshirt):
Redshirted with the Mavericks and practiced with the team the entire season.

Prior to UNO:
Davis played for the Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League for two seasons before coming to UNO...He registered 6-19-25 in 1999-2000 in 39 games before being injured in a car accident, forcing him to miss the rest of the season...In 1998-1999, he registered 10 goals and 13 assists in 50 games along with 52 penalty minutes.

Personal:
Born July 21, 1979 in Battle Creek, MI, the son of Terry and Linda Davis...Graduated from Burke Senior High School in Omaha...Hobbies are listening to music and watching movies.

“Brett has made huge strides in his development over the past two seasons in our program. His recovery from his car accident in 1999 has been steady and he showed last year that he is capable of playing well at the Division I college level."
