2000-2001 (Sophomore):
Played in all 41 games for UNO and was second on the team in scoring with 41 points...Was tied for sixth in the CCHA in conference scoring with 29 points...Recorded 12 multi-point games and was second on the team with seven power play goals...All three of his game-winning goals came against CCHA foes...His longest point streak of the season was five games...Tied for third on the team with a +13...Earned honorable mention for the 2002 CCHA all-academic team...Tied his career-high for points (3) on three different occasions...Recorded at least one point in 19 of the 20 weekends the Mavericks played...His 29 assists on the year broke the previous record of 26.

1999-2000 (Freshman):
Played in 36 games during his rookie campaign and was the fourth leading scorer on the team with 12-12-24...Tied for second on the team in goals and his +11 was fourth best on the team...Had a season-high two goals against Ferris State in a 7-4 win on Oct. 27...Had seven multiple-point games on the year, highlighted by a 1-2-3 performance against Ohio State on Feb. 17...Had two different three-game point streaks, the first occuring from Jan. 12 to Jan. 19 where he recorded 2-3-5 in games against Bowling Green and Northern Michigan and the second happening in the three playoff games against Ohio State when he had an assist in each game...Had a Maverick record six game-winning goals on the season and that also tied for fifth in NCAA statistics...UNO was 3-0-1 when he scored a power play goal...Was named CCHA Rookie of the Week on Jan. 15 for his 2-2-4 performance in the sweep of Bowling Green.

Junior Hockey:
Played three years with the Cowichan Valley Capitals of the British Columbia Hockey League...In 1999-2000, he racked up 34-70-104 in 56 games, earning the team’s most popular player award...Had 19-61-80 in 1998-99 and was awarded the coaches’ award...He was also named rookie of the year for the Capitals in 1997-1998.

Personal:
Born May 8, 1980 in Calgary, Alb., the son of Norm and Jean Wong...Graduated from Cowichan Secondary School.
