Lettered three years in baseball and was a three-year starter at St. Thomas Academy…Split time among second base, right field, catcher and designated hitter spots…Two-time all-conference pick for the Classic Suburban Conference…Team captain as a senior, helping the Cadets to an 18-4 record and their first league championship since 1983…Played American Legion summer ball for the West St. Paul Challenger team, which voted him player of the year in 2010…Also played junior varsity hockey in the winter of 2007-08 for a state championship program…Graduated summa cum laude with a 3.5 grade-point average.
