As a Senior (2020-21)

Four-year letterwinner for coach Steve Blue...Two-time first-team all-state selection over his junior and senior campaigns...As a senior, averaged 18.6 points, 14.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 3.9 blocks per game...Named Mr. Kansas Basketball by the KBCA and the Barry Sanders Male Athlete of the Year...As a junior, averaged 20.1 points, 15.3 rebounds and 4.0 blocks per game while helping his team to a 21-2 record, a league title and a sub-state championship...Also named the Kansas Class 5A Player of the Year, first-team Wichita All-Metro and his league's most valuable player...In his sophomore season, was an all-state honorable mention pick while averaging 15.7 points, 15.1 rebounds and 3.4 blocks per contest...As a freshman, was part of another Eisenhower squad that won both league and sub-state championships...Also lettered in track & field and won a Class 5A state javelin championship...Graduated in the top 10 percent of his class...Kansas Honors Scholar and a member of the National Honor Society...Recipient of the Wendy's High School Heisman Award...Played AAU ball for coach Derrick Jackson of Team KC.
