As a Junior (2011)
Became UNO’s all-time career strikeouts leader, as he compiled 323 Ks in three seasons...Chosen second-team all-region by the ABCA and Daktronics…Earned first-team All-MIAA accolades for the second straight year…Named to the Tino Martinez Award initial watch list for Division II’s most outstanding player...Went 8-2 with a 4.56 ERA over 12 starts and 71.0 innings on the mound...Threw four complete games and had four performances with double-figure strikeouts...Led the Mavericks and the MIAA with 94 strikeouts for the year…Held his opponents to a .242 batting average…Made his season debut against Augustana (Feb. 26) striking out four over four innings…Came back with nine strikeouts in four innings of work at Southwest Baptist (March 3)…Reached double figures with 11 strikeouts against Washburn (March 18), limiting the Ichabods to two hits over seven innings for the 5-3 win…Fanned another 11 batters and kept Lincoln at four hits with a 4-0 shutout on March 27…Struck out a season-high 12 batters in a complete-game, 5-2 win at nationally-ranked Emporia State (April 2)…Put up eight strikeouts in a 9-5 decision over Missouri Southern (April 16)…Hit double-figure strikeouts again with 11 Ks in 5.2 innings at Fort Hays State (April 22)…Tossed a one-hitter with eight strikeouts in a 5-1 victory at Truman (April 29)…Earned the 11-1 Washburn win in the opening game of the MIAA Tournament, striking out seven and allowing just one run on three hits…Drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 22nd round (No. 682 overall) of the 2011 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft, becoming the highest pick of any playing in the Bob Herold era at UNO.

As a Sophomore (2010)
Earned the Division II Strikeout Award for the most strikeouts of any pitcher among NCAA Division II teams, fanning 152 batters…Garnered first-team All-America honors from Daktronics…Honored as the Rawlings/ABCA South Central Regional Pitcher of the Year and was a finalist for the Tino Martinez Award…Went 9-2 for the year, tossing a team-high 87.1 innings with 152 strikeouts and a 2.89 earned-run average…Threw seven innings on eight occasions – including seven straight games between March 22 and May 1 -- and had four one-hitters for the year…Reached double-figure strikeouts in nine contests, highlighted by a span of seven consecutive games…Went on to pitch in the prestigious Cape Cod League over the summer for the Harwich Mariners.

As a Freshman (2009)
Started 10 games for the Mavericks and went 6-4 as a starter...Compiled a 7-4 record on the year...Posted a 3.49 ERA in 49 innings pitched...Led the team with two shutouts and was third on the team with 62 strikeouts.

Played for Head Coach Pat Mooney at Creighton Prep...Notched a 7-1 record in his senior season to go along with 65 strikeouts...Named first team all-state and all-metro as a senior.
