Senior (2016)
Played in all 19 games with 18 starts during her senior season…played in 1492 minutes as a central defender and took a career-high four shots…twice played a full 110 minutes against Eastern Washington (Sept. 14) and Colorado State (Sept. 18)…logged 90 minute performances 11 times.

Junior (2015)
Appeared in 10 games with nine starts at central defender for the Mavericks…made her Omaha debut at Iowa on Aug. 23…twice played 110 minutes against Northern Iowa and at North Dakota…took her only shot of the season against Northern Illinois.

UNLV
Played two seasons at UNLV before transferring to UNO…as a sophomore in 2014, played in 8 games and made four starts with one shot….as a freshman in 2013, started eight games as a freshman while making a total of 11 appearances ... posted an assist in UNLV's 1-0 win over Colorado State on Oct. 13…attempted five shots on the season.

Chaparral High School
Four year starter at Chaparral High School...led Chaparral to a regional title...played at outside back for the Real Colorado National Club team, based out of Highlands Ranch.

Born on Feb. 9 in Denver, Colo….daughter of Doug Vanderzwaag and Sue Mergen... Has one brother, Eric…majoring in biology.
