Led all UNO freshmen in scoring while finishing third on the team in points...was a member of the All-WCHA Rookie Team...was one of six players to appear in all 38 games...made his collegiate debut against Mercyhurst on Oct. 7...earned his first collegiate point with an assist against Alaska Anchorage on Oct. 21...scored his first collegiate goal against Alaska Anchorage on Oct. 22...had a pair of assists at Wisconsin on Oct. 29...recorded the first multiple-goal game of his career with two goals against Colorado College on Nov. 4...had a goal and an assist at Bemidji State on Nov. 11...had a pair of assists including the primary helper on his brother Jaycob’s first collegiate goal at Bemidji State on Nov. 12...scored an unassisted goal and had an assist at Denver on Nov. 19...had three assists, tying a team season high, against Alabama-Huntsville on Dec. 3...had a powerplay goal and two assists against Quinnipiac on Dec. 31...had a goal with 9.7 seconds remaining in regulation to tie the game and an assist at Minnesota State on Jan. 21...had a goal at Michigan Tech on Feb. 10...scored another goal at Michigan Tech and added an assist on Feb. 11...had an empty net goal and an assist at Colorado College on Feb. 18...scored a shorthanded goal against Minnesota on Feb. 24...scored a shorthanded goal against Denver on March 3, the 10th shorthanded goal scored by UNO that season, tying the school record.

Megna had a career year in his second year with Cedar Rapids of the USHL, scoring 30 goals and 28 assists for 58 points in 60 games to help the Roughriders clinch the Anderson Cup as regular season champions...finished second in team scoring and led the team in goals and powerplay goals (8) while also serving as team captain...was a USHL All-Star and an All-USHL First Team selection...in 116 career USHL games with Cedar Rapids, he had 41 goals and 43 assists for 84 points...also had 107 career penalty minutes...in the playoffs, had four goals and three assists for seven points in eight playoff games for the Roughriders to finish second in team playoff scoring...played in 13 career playoff games total...during the 2009-10 season, played alongside current UNO defenseman Bryce Aneloski.
