Redshirted during the 2008-09 season...spent the prior four seasons with the Sarnia Blast of the Western Ontario Hockey League where he set WOHL goaltending records for games played (145), minutes played (8,123) and wins (74)...he also set team records for career shutouts (6) and career assists by a goaltender (8)...named WOHL first team all-star in 2007-08 after going 19-19-0 with 3.03 GAA and a league-best .921 save percentage.
