2017 (Junior)
Ran in three of six meets for the Mavericks, scoring in one…had a season-best 6K time of 25:15.20 at the Woody Greeno Nebraska Invitational (Sept. 16)…ran fourth on the team at the Roy Griak Invitational (Sept. 23)…a member of the Summit League Academic Honor Roll and the Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence.

2015 (Freshman)
Ran in all seven meets for UNO, scoring in two of them…had her best team finish, coming in fourth, with a personal best 5K time of 19:35.50 at the Mount Marty Invite (Oct. 24)…put up a personal best 6K time of 23:50.5 at the Bradley Classic (Oct. 16)…was eighth for the Mavericks with a 6K time of 26:16.05 at the Summit League Championship (Oct. 31).

Before UNO
Was a four-year letter winner in cross country and track & field at Omaha’s Burke High School…as a senior, broke her own school record in the 800 meters (2:13.58) while finishing as the all-class champion…medaled in all four events (400 m, 800 m, 4 x 400 relay, 4 x 800 relay) at the state track meet, was the Burke track athlete of the year, the Metro Scholar Award winner and all-state academic…also qualified for the state cross country championship…was the state class A 800 meter champion as a junior with a then-Burke record of 2:15.64…that year, also was all-state academic and the school’s track athlete of the year.

Born Nov. 11, 1996…daughter of Greg and Kris Houston…majoring in elementary education.
