As a Junior (2023) 
Made eight appearances including seven starts…Led all starters with a 4.97 ERA and 1.00 WHIP…Posted the lowest BAA of any Maverick pitcher at .204…Second on the team with 54 strikeouts…Had two double-digit strikeout games…Worked a scoreless inning with two strikeouts in the Summit League Tournament against NDSU…Named Summit League Pitcher of the Week on March 13 after throwing six shutout innings with 13 strikeouts vs. Stonehill.

As a Sophomore (2022) 
Started 13 games on the mound, totaling 60.1 innings... Posted the second-best ERA in the nation at 1.49... Led the Mavericks with 1.18 WHIP, 50 hits and 12 runs allowed... Ranked second in the Summit League with an opposing batting average of .229... Went on a 27-inning streak where the lefty did not allow an earned run... Threw 8.0 innings in the Summit League Tournament against North Dakota State (May 26), striking out seven while allowing two hits over 128 pitches... Named Summit League Newcomer of the Year... All-Summit First Team selection. 

Iowa Western CC  
Pitched two seasons at Iowa Western CC... Record of 4-0 with one save in 18 appearances, making three starts... Threw 31.1 innings with a 3.73 ERA... 

As a Sophomore (2021) 
Posted a 3-0 record with one save in 13 appearances...  struck out 29 opposing hitters in 21 innings... Collected a 2.14 ERA. 

As a Freshman (2020) 
Went 1-0 in five appearances... Struck out 13 in 10.1 innings in 2020. 

Millard West 
Record of 2-0 as a junior... helped is team to a 4th place finish at the state tournament... Went 3-1 as a senior with an ERA of 1.53... Earned First-Team All-State and All-Metro... Struck out 52 in 34 innings on the way to a state championship with a team record of 28-5. 

Personal 
Son of Brian and Julie Riedel... Has two brothers Devin and Levi... Has one sister Coryn... Majoring in Architectural Engineering.
