OMAHA, Neb. –– Omaha Men's Basketball head coach
Chris Crutchfield announced the signing of Dace Pleasant to the Mavericks' 2026-27 roster Tuesday.

Pleasant arrives in the 402 fresh off an NJCAA Division I national championship at Howard College. Pleasant scored an efficient 15 points with four boards and two assists to help lift his squad to a win over Daytona State in the second round of the tournament. On the season, Pleasant appeared in 37 games for the Hawks, averaging 24.3 minutes a night. He shot 35% from 3-point range and 41.7% from the field as he averaged over 10 points a game. Prior to Howard College, Pleasant, a Seattle, Washington product, spent one season at North Idaho.
Crutchfield on Pleasant:
"Dace is a big versatile forward that can really shoot it. He's a very smart, cerebral guy that understands all facets of the game. He played on a national championship team at Howard Junior College. I'm looking forward to him bringing his energetic personality and winning attitude to Omaha."
Pleasant is now one of seven confirmed newcomers to next year's squad, joining transfers Cahmai Crosby, Deke Thompson and Heri Bukinga.
