SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Omaha men's soccer's (0-5-2) four-match road trip came to a close Tuesday as the Mavericks fell to Notre Dame 3-1. Omaha was held without a shot-on-target in the first half at Alumni Stadium.
Notre Dame opened the scoring in the 12th minute of play with a goal to the low left corner of the net by Wyatt Borso, assisted by Alex Rosin and KK Baffour. Not even 13 minutes into the second half, Notre Dame doubled up off the boot of Luke Burton as Rosin picked up his second assist of the evening.

Italo Jenkins (Atlanta, Ga.) came off the bench to finish-off the cross-field service from graduate student midfielder
Yoshiki Igarashi (Tokyo, Japan) to cut the deficit in half. Jenkins ties sophomore forward
Bradley Takamo (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) for Omaha's team lead in goals with two on the young campaign.

Kamy Ndione (Osaka, Japan) madę his second straight start in goal for
Donovan Dowling's Mavericks, making three saves in a complete-game outing.
The Mavericks return to Caniglia Field Sunday, Sept. 21 at 1 p.m. CT as Omaha hosts SIUE live on the Summit League Network.
