Men's Soccer wraps up home slate against Denver, UCLA

OMAHA, Neb. - Omaha Men's Soccer (3-7-3, 1-2-1 Summit) takes the pitch at Caniglia Field this week for the Mavericks' final two home fixtures of the 2025 regular-season. Omaha welcomes (RV) Denver on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 2:30 p.m., followed by the final non-conference match of the season on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. CT. Both matches will air on the Summit League Network.

About Omaha

Donovan Dowling's Mavericks enter Saturday's match, the penultimate Summit League game of the campaign, coming off a shutout loss, 6-0, at league newcomer Delaware last week. Omaha sits on the postseason bubble with the top four teams in the table advancing to the Summit League tournament semifinal, beginning Saturday, Nov. 8. Per Ken Massey, Omaha's schedule is the 32nd strongest in the nation. Only Denver's ranks ahead of Omaha's among Summit League teams (first).

Omaha's last score game in a non-conference tilt with UTRGV on Oct. 14, a 5-1 win for the Mavericks. Omaha is 1-3-1 in its last four outings.
 
Scouting the Opponents

Denver enters Saturday's match tied for second in the Summit with Kansas City at six points each. The Pioneers have outscored conference foes 5-3 in league fixtures. Denver has struggled away from home, posting a record of 1-6-1 on the road this season.

UCLA currently sits 3-6-4 overall with a 3-3-2 mark in the Big Ten. The Bruins play Rutgers before visiting Omaha. UCLA's offense is paced by forward Sergi Solans Ormo's four goals in 13 games.
