About Omaha

Omaha enters Saturday's match coming off its first lost in league action, 1-0, at Kansas City last week. After being held to just two shots in the first 30 minutes, Omaha was unable to overcome Kansas City's 25th minute score when Jeremy Francou put home the one-timer off the boot of Bryce Outman.

Graduate student forward Theo Klein (Strasbourg, France) logged Omaha's lone shot-on-target of the opening period in the 33rd minute towards the middle of the net.

Junior goalkeeper Kamy Ndione (Osaka, Japan) made three saves in the opening 45 minutes. He faced five shots in the second half, all off-target. Graduate student midfielder Yoshiki Igarashi (Tokyo, Japan) logged two of Omaha's three scoring chances in the final 45 minutes, with senior midfielder Oskar Kvarnback (Stockholm, Sweden) etching his name in the box score in the 67th minute.

Kansas City had 12 corner kick opportunities in the match including nine in the first half alone. Omaha had an even two corner kicks in each half of play.

Each side finished with four shots-on-target.

Saturday's meeting between the Minutemen and Mavericks is the first all-time.
