The Omaha Mavericks women's golf team has put the wraps on their 2024 spring season with a fifth place finish at the Summit League Championship in Mayetta, Kansas.

Sydney Taake opened the tournament with career best three under, 69 opening round. She closed Sunday sitting T2. Taake finished the weekend T11 and was +10 through the 54-hole tournament.

Following her with a T21 finish was Emily Karmazin and Nicole Hansen. Karmazin shot +1 in her final round today for a 73. Karmazin's tournament only got better round-by-round as she went 81-79-73 over the 54-hole championship. Hansen closed out the season with a two-over 74 today. She shot 75-84 in her opening two rounds.

Finishing T26 was Macarena Garcia. Garcia shot 78-81-79 for a tournament score of +20. Rounding out the Mavericks tournament with a T32 finish was Mika Miyata. Miayata shot an opening round 77 that was followed up by an 81 and 82, yesterday and today.

The Mavericks shot +11 today for a team score of 299. Finishing in fifth, they beat out North Dakota, South Dakota and North Dakota State
