Omaha Mavericks graduate golfer Nicole Hansen has been named the TicketSmarter Summit League Women's Golf Peak Performer of the Week.

Hansen placed second overall at the Islander Classic last week helping the Mavericks to a fourth place finish in their debut spring tournament. Hansen shot a three-day total of 227 going 75-76-76.

The Maverick fifth year was named a Summit League Preseason Athlete to Watch before the spring season began. This is the second Summit League weekly award Hansen has won during her time as a Maverick.

Hansen and the Mavericks continue their spring campaign March 4-5 at the Lady Bison Invitational at Hawkstone Country Club in Gainesville, Florida.
