Omaha Mavericks men's soccer announces signees on National Signing Day

Nov 14, 2024

OMAHA, Neb. - Omaha men's soccer had two student-athletes join the Mavericks' program on Wednesday, Nov. 13 as part of National Signing Day. Arriving on campus in August 2025 will be Brady Robins of Mill Valley, Kansas and Ben Schendt from Omaha Skutt Catholic High School.

Brady Robins
Robins received All-State and All-Sunflower League honors while playing midfield for Mill Valley High School in Shawnee, Kansas. He scored 13 goals and 4 assists as a senior. (NOTE: Kansas plays their boys' soccer season in the fall.)

DONOVAN DOWLING ON ROBINS
"We first identified Brady at one of our ID camps back in the summer of 2023. Brady has a lot of great tools that will translate well into the Division I game. He's athletic, has good feet, works both sides of the ball, and can play in a variety of positions. Our staff was really excited to land Brady's commitment, and believe he has a bright future at Omaha."

Ben Schendt
Heading into his senior season in the spring of 2025, Lincoln native Schendt scored a team-leading 15 goals as a junior at Omaha Skutt Catholic High School, leading the team to their fifth consecutive Nebraska Class B Championship. Ben was named All-State and Super State as a junior.

DONOVAN DOWLING ON SCHENDT
"Ben continues in our philosophy of bringing the top players from the state of Nebraska into our program. Ben is someone we identified very early on, and knew he was a great fit for us and the way we play. Ben is a highly technical player, who is comfortable in tight spaces, and has great vision of the field around him. We believe he has a high ceiling and are excited to integrate him into our group in August."
