GRAND FORKS, N.D. - Omaha volleyball completed the regular season sweep of North Dakota Thursday with the Mavericks' second 3-0 win over the Fighting Hawks in 2024.
The Mavericks' fast start in the opening set laid the foundation for a 25-22, 25-16 and 25-19 sweep on the road.
Kali Jurgensmeier led all players with 11 kills on 22 total attacks while
McKenna Ruch and
Amanda Hardt each contributed nine.
Paige Barber paced the offense for the home team.
Ruch added four block assists as the Mavericks combined for 10 total blocks in the three-set victory.
Omaha continues the trip up north at North Dakota State on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 1 p.m. CT on the Summit League Network.
The Mavericks return to Baxter Arena on Thursday, Oct. 31 at 7 p.m. CT to face the nation's only undefeated team in South Dakota State on the Summit League Network.
