Mavericks Capture Program's First NCAA Tournament Win and Finish Season 33-17

For the first time in the Division I era, the Omaha Mavericks captured an NCAA Tournament victory defeating the Prairie View A&M panthers, 3-0. Omaha received solid hitting from their bats and lockdown pitching from Senior ace Kamryn Meyer to come away with the historic victory. Following their besting of the Panthers, Omaha was set for a rematch with Louisiana in their third game of the regional. With momentum on their side, the Mavericks weren't able to replicate their earlier success as they fell 9-0 to the Ragin' Cajuns. Omaha finished the 2023 campaign as champions of the Summit League and with a record of 33-17.
